Young Adult Travel Scholarships
UUJME is offering travel scholarships to UU young adults aged 18-35 for trips to the Middle East. The Young Adult Travel Scholarship supports young people to take part in activities that will help further UUJME’s mission and the cause of justice, peace, and human rights in Israel-Palestine. Scholarship applicants may request up to $3000 in funding assistance to help cover trip costs, although all scholarship awards are subject to available funding.
Scholarship applicants are asked to propose a trip to Israel-Palestine and provide UUJME with details of expected expenses, dates of travel, specific destinations, planned activities, any planned collaborations with individuals or groups, and most important, post-trip follow-up plans to use the experience to educate others back home and continue the work for justice in Israel-Palestine.

Visit Palestine
An actual visit to Palestine/Israel can be of great help in understanding what is happening there and in motivating one to get engaged in making a difference.
UUJME has sponsored human rights delegations to Palestine/Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories about every two years since 2002. Our trips focus on human rights issues and include meetings with a variety of Israeli and Palestinian rights groups and individuals, as well as sight-seeing outings to religious, cultural and historical sites.
Due to COVID-19, in lieu of international travel many organizations are offering immersive virtual delegations to Palestine.
